Cybersecurity Resilience and Risk Management in Enterprises
Keywords:
cybersecurity resilience, enterprise risk management, adaptive governance, digital infrastructureAbstract
Enterprises increasingly depend on complex digital infrastructures that expose them to persistent and evolving cyber threats. Cybersecurity resilience extends beyond traditional protection mechanisms by emphasizing anticipation, absorption, recovery, and adaptation in the face of adverse cyber events. This study investigates how enterprises design and operationalize cybersecurity resilience through integrated risk management practices. Drawing on information systems perspectives, the article develops a quantitative resilience assessment model and validates it using multi-sector enterprise data. The findings demonstrate that adaptive governance, continuous monitoring, and cross-functional integration significantly enhance organizational resilience outcomes.
